Day 1-India-Calgary-Welcome to Calgary!

This evening, mix and mingle with your traveling companions at the 6 pm welcome reception. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming Canadian Rockies adventure. (WR)


Day 2-Calgary-Lake Louise

This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Calgary's major sights, including Stampede Park, Saddle dome Stadium, and a visit to FORT CALGARY. We continue into the Canadian Rockies with a stop at beautiful Moraine Lake Upon arrival at Lake Louise, enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Afterwards, discover Lake Louise on a private guided tour covering the history, wildlife, and lore of this world-famous location. The remainder of the day is at leisure to join a hike to the Lake Agnes Teahouse, enjoy a canoe excursion, or just relax at this historic Canadian resort. (B, L) Special Feature: Your hotel tonight is the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Situated in one of the world's most breathtaking settings, Chateau Lake Louise evokes a sense of timeless beauty, warmth, intimacy, comfort, and Old World charm. Day 3-Lake Louise-Ice fields-Jasper

Journey north on Ice fields Parkway and savor stunning vistas of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and glacier masses. We'll stop at Peyto Lake , which many consider to be the best view in Canada and perhaps one of the best in the world. Get ready for one of the trip's highlights: a stop at the Columbia Ice field for a memorable ride on an ICE EXPLORER. Stand on 1,000 feet of ice and come face to face with the glaciers that feed into a Triple Continental Divide. We continue to JASPER NATIONAL PARK . Day 4-Jasper.Excursion to Maligne Lake

Choose Your Experience This morning, enjoy an excursion to Maligne Lake for a fully narrated CRUISE to Spirit Island. After your cruise, a Globus Platinum exclusive, select how you wish to spend your afternoon. Choose between a leisurely FLOAT TRIP on the Athabasca River or a guided NATURE WALK to learn more about the area's flora and fauna. The balance of the day is at leisure. Your world-class resort offers all kinds of things to do. Hollywood greats like Marilyn Monroe, Robert Mitchum, and Bing Crosby were known to play a round of golf on this scenic course-and you can, too. Treat yourself like royalty with a spa treatment, or stroll the streets of Jasper with its array of specialty stores. (B)


Day 5-Jasper-Banff

This morning we stop at thundering Athabasca Falls before continuing our sightseeing with visits to BANFF and YOHO NATIONAL PARK See the Natural Bridge spanning Kicking Horse River and Emerald Lake Arrive in Banff with the balance of the day at leisure. (B) Special Feature: Your hotel for the next two nights is the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Few hotels in the world rival the majesty, hospitality, and scenery of the Banff Springs Hotel. With its unique blend of opulence and seclusion, it's been a symbol of the Canadian Rockies for more than a century. Day 6-Banff

Enjoy sightseeing with a ride on the BANFF GONDOLA up Sulphur Mountain. Afterward, a scenic drive around Tunnel Mountain, where each corner brings a new surprise-from animals like elk and deer to the unique landscape features of the Hoodoos and Bow River. This afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps take advantage of an optional helicopter flight seeing trip with dramatic aerial views of the Rocky Mountains and Banff. Or, you may wish to stroll the colorful streets of Banff or fish for trout on Lake Minnewanka. This evening your Tour Director hosts a special farewell dinner, the perfect finale for your vacation! Day 7-Banff-Calgary

Your journey comes to a close today as you arrive at Calgary International Airport for your flight home. Flights should be scheduled after 1 pm. (B)

Float Trip Down The Bow River

A chance to really experience the beauty and tranquility of the Canadian Rockies with a peaceful one-hour float trip down the Bow River past Tunnel Mountain, the Hoodoos and Mount Rundle. No experience necessary & guide does all the paddling; these custom rafts have a floorboard so your shoes should stay dry! Lifejackets are required and provided. Royal Canadian Helicopter Tour

This 25-minute helicopter flight offers a magnificent overview of the Rocky Mountains and the Banff area. Cottonwood Nature Walk

Enjoy the freshness of an early morning walk or after the heat of the day. A walk through one of the best bird and beaver habitats near Jasper. On this casual walk the guides knowledge of birds and animal habits and habitats and the flowers and the plants adds to this experience. You will be provided with walking sticks, binoculars and raincoats as needed. Bring your camera, comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Allow up to three hours for this excursion. Approximate value: USD $48 per person


Behind The Scenery-Dinner & Discovery

On the shore of Pyramid Lake with Pyramid Mountain towering in the background, watch and listen to the natural sounds and enjoy a canoeing experience here in Jasper National Park. Back on land, check out the Interpretive display of Scats, Tracks and Animal Racks. The animal population is so diverse, that the interpreter will touch on a number of animal studies taking place in the Park. Bring along a camera, comfortable clothes and Questions. Mount Edith Cavell Nature Walk

An absolute must for the most snow and ice avalanche activity! Join your experienced guide on this two-hour hike on the Path of the Glacier walk with Mount Edith Cavell's snowcapped peak towering a mile overhead. Experience three kinds of glacier formations, icebergs, waterfalls and the emerald green of Lake of Forgiveness. An exceptional soft adventure to one of Jasper's gems.
